Biography

Judge Will Monk has served as Washington County General Sessions Judge since 2025, following his appointment by the Washington County Commission. He brings more than 20 years of experience as an Assistant District Attorney in the First Judicial District, where he prosecuted criminal cases and worked extensively with juvenile matters, child support enforcement and mental health-related cases. Judge Monk holds a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Memphis and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and History from King University. He is committed to fair, consistent application of the law and to serving the people of Washington County with integrity and professionalism.

Judge Monk loves spending time with his daughter and never knows what outdoor or foodie adventure she is going to take him on. When not spending time with her, he enjoys the beauty and peacefulness of trout and bass fishing in this wonderful area we call home and occasionally vacations out West to fly fish the waters of Wyoming.
