The Washington County Register of Deeds office is transitioning from i3 Verticals/BIS to Progress. This change will impact how you access our office's records online. Starting November 4, 2024, our records will be available at ustitlesearch.net.
Key Information:
- New Users: There is a one-time setup fee of $50 for the UStitlesearch service. However, Progress is offering the first month of subscription for free (regular cost: $55 per month).
- Existing U.S. Title Search Users: If you already have a U.S. Title Search account, adding Washington County will cost an additional $20 per month.
- County Account Holders: If you already use an account for county purposes, please contact Chelsie Summey at csummey@washingtoncountytn.org to transfer your account to Progress.
While this transition may require some adjustments, I am confident that Progress will provide excellent customer service for both our office and the public. I ask for your patience and understanding as our team navigates this change.
Transition Schedule:
- Office Closure for Training & Equipment Upgrade: Our office will be closed to the public from Thursday, October 31 to Friday, November 1, 2024. We will reopen and begin recording live with Progress on Monday, November 4.
- Credit Card Payments: Credit card payment options will be unavailable from October 21 to November 1, 2024.
- E-Filing Services (Simplifile & CSC): E-filing will not be available between October 31 and November 4, 2024.
We will provide additional updates on property fraud alerts, DD214 recordings, and improvements to UStitlesearch.net as we proceed through this transition.
