The Washington County Election Commission decided on upcoming early voting hours for the November presidential election.
Beginning October 16, early voting takes place 9 am-5 pm daily.
There will be one extended early voting day, Tuesday, October 29th till 7 pm, with extended hours at all locations. The final day of early voting is Thursday, October 31 when voting will take place 9 am – 5 pm.
Early Voting locations are: Old Jonesborough Middle School, 308 Forest Drive, Jonesborough; Johnson City Fire Station #8, 106 Gray Commons Circle, Gray and Freedom Hall, 1320 Pactolas Road, Johnson City.
Washington College Academy will host early voting for five days at 116 Doak Lane, Limestone. Voting will take place at Washington College Academy from 9 am-5 pm from Tuesday, October 22 through October 25 and from 9-12 noon on Saturday, October 26.
On election day, Tuesday, November 5, voting will be held at precinct locations only.
Also at the Election Commission meeting, Commissioners presented Constable Mark Bacon with his certificate of election. Bacon will serve for the next four years.
