Committees: Committee on Committees, Public Safety-Secretary, Public Works-Secretary, Rules-Secretary, Budget Committee

Occupation: Teacher and Farmer

Personal: I live in the Sulphur Springs community with my wife, Niki, and our two sons, Houston and Dailey. We enjoy a busy life of farming, as well as squeezing in adventures when time allows. We are active members of Sulphur Springs Methodist Church.  I have a BS in Marketing, University of Tennessee, BS Logistics and Transportation, University of Tennessee and M.Ed. Milligan University.

Guiding Principles: The great John Wayne said, “A big mouth don’t make a big man.”  I’m a really good listener, and then I discern and pray about what I have heard and read.  My life is about being dependable and carrying myself with integrity.

What you hope to accomplish on Commission? We live in one of the most desirable areas in the world, which is evident with the new developments. My goal for this Commission is to help position Washington County to prosper during this exciting time, while holding on to traditions that created the stability and beauty of our area. The blending of rural and urban development will be a key factor for this commission to master.
