Committees: County Commission (Vice-Chair), Budget Committee, Communications Task Force, Public Safety (Chair), Rules (Vice-Chair), ARPA Task Force

Occupation: I am an attorney in private practice in Jonesborough handling Wills, Trusts and Probate and I represent the Town of Jonesborough as the Town Attorney.

Personal: My wife Laura and I have two adult children.  Lindsey is a therapist and Tate graduated from UT last year and is currently applying to Physician Assistant programs.  Our son-in-law, Logan, is an electrician and we have one grandson.  Laura and I are active members at Munsey Memorial United Methodist Church.

Guiding Principles: We love this community and we have been very blessed here.   Laura and I saw my service on the Washington County Commission as a way to give back to that community.  I look forward to seeing the new Jonesborough School that we worked so hard for, open early next year.  I believe in small government and local decision making.  I hope that we can continue to find ways to move the County forward while holding our property taxes low and finding ways to work even more efficiently.  Most importantly, I hope the Commission will continue to work for this to be an area where all of our children and grandchildren will want to call home.
